The other H-Man

I stepped out back last night and for the first time in my adult life, I was five feet away from the most beautiful owl. I didn't realize how mesmerized I could be, and I couldn't stop staring at this fantastic creature. Well, until he looked straight at me as if he wanted to scratch my eyes out--I looked away at that point, but I only had more respect from that point on.

I refuse to believe that our owl visitor, we'll call him Hoot-Man, was here to represent death and misfortune, as folklore would have us to believe.

Now does he look like he brings death and misfortune? I don't see it.

From Owl

I choose their other association. Hoot-Man represents wisdom and prosperity. And I believe he came to share that with me and Harrison. Or to get a rat in the yard.
