My intentions were to take my camera on the fun-filled adventure of going to see our new hire, Mike Scaccia, play in his band--Ryan Beaver. Where you ask? Midnight Rodeo. I hadn't stepped foot in that dance hall since I was a young, silly college student. I took this picture to start the album off, but then I left the camera on the kitchen counter.

The lack of documentation didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would; we had a good time, but I didn't get to two-step. Harrison isn't much of a dancer. Melanie and her husband are pretty awesome dancers--they can swing. Andie, another one of our newest additions to the English Department, was also there to show her support. Rene, Eileen, Kendra and Jacob were also there; it was interesting to hang out with your principals...and principles.
